The Santander Breakthrough Moments Box is coming to Exeter for a five-day festival of events aimed at helping businesses with ambition. Taking place in the heart of the city, the festival will offer a great opportunity for SMEs to gain insight, share experience and develop new contacts in a different, vibrant environment.
Covering a wide range of topics, the thought-provoking sessions have been developed to provide businesses with practical solution to drive growth and you can choose which sessions you’d like to attend.

Financing for the Future, Tuesday 6 October, 12 – 1:30pm, Breakthrough Moments Box, Southernhay, Exeter, Devon, Ex1 1PJ
This session focuses on the key opportunities available to business owners to help them access some of the funding options available. From traditional banking finance through to the alternative and CDFI sources including Funding Circle, SWIG Finance, Bricks Financial and Folk2Folk.
Together the speakers will discuss the various funding options and how best to secure them. This will be an interactive session giving attendees the opportunity to gain a real understanding of what support is available, insight and an opportunity to challenge the experts.
How to Start and Grow a Small Business with Finance, Thursday 8 October, 3:30- 4:30pm, Breakthrough Moments Box, Southernhay, Exeter, Devon, Ex1 1PJ
This interactive and rewarding session focuses on the key opportunities available to small businesses and how to access some of the funding options available outside of traditional banking finance.
David Leaman and Paul Green from Outside and John Peters from SWIG Finance will share their experience and insight on the source of funds and suitability, how best to secure it and high the support accessible for businesses to reach their full potential and to accelerate growth plans.
