SWIG is thrilled to be taking part in a special Finance for Growth event with Plymouth Chamber of Commerce, funded by the Regional Development Fund as part of the Plymouth and South West Peninsula City Deal.
Whether you are just starting up in business, or you are a large, well established enterprise, access to finance is critical to your success, particularly if you are looking to grow. This event is designed to dispel some of the myths, as well as answer some of your questions about the huge range of options available. It will also give you direct access to a range of experts and the opportunity to hear from a local business about how they managed to overcome the challenges of growing their business successfully, despite the recession of recent years.
Delegates will hear from Andrew Lightfoot, Business Finance Network; Dave Young, The UNA Group and Peter Scott MBE, Plymouth Chamber of Commerce. Following the speakers, there will be three workshop sessions, one aimed at start-up and new businesses, one discussing equity finance and the third covering loan finance.
SWIG’s Chris Burt will be talking about accessing loan finance and Katie Sandow will be talking about accessing start-up and new business finance.
When: Thursday 15th May, 8am- 11am
Where: Jury’s Inn, Plymouth
Free to attend
