SWIG Finance is delighted to announce the appointment of Clare Lenihan-Thomas, who has joined the team as a Business Manager.
Clare gained a Psychology degree in 2013 at the University of London before joining Lloyds Banking Group with whom she underwent Lloyds’ Graduate Trainee Programme, returning to Cornwall as SME Relationship Manager in 2015. Clare is passionate about supporting SMEs in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly and is very excited about her new role.

2019 has seen the SWIG team grow across the South West, with Clare being the 6th new recruit so far this year.
In April, Business Manager Nicola Mapp was appointed to join our Bristol Office, Rachael Taylor was appointed Business Manager at our Exeter office, and Sharon Callaway joined the team as Loans Administrator at HQ in Truro.
In July, Mike Chapman and Rachel Thomson were both appointed as Business Managers for Cornwall and Isles of Scilly.
Of the new appointments, John Peters, Managing Director at SWIG Finance said “2019 has been a really exciting year so far for SWIG. With our new team members we can now reach more SMEs and start-ups from Gloucestershire to Cornwall, providing them with access to essential finance. As a Social Enterprise it is important to us that we give back to our local communities, and so we are proud to be in a position where we can drive growth and continue to support jobs in the South West region”.
