Non-Executive Director, SWIG Capital
SWIG is a not for profit organisation and member of the Community Development Finance Association (CDFA) providing loan finance to small and medium sized businesses which cannot access sufficient funding from the traditional sources. Delivering across the South West for 25 years SWIG operates from offices in Truro and Bristol with fund managers and representatives throughout the region.
SWIG Group includes SWIG Limited, SWIG Services, the delivery arm of the organisation and SWIG Capital, the fund holding arm of theorganisation.
The strategic Group Board is made up of Directors from Cornwall Council, Devon County Council, Gloucestershire First, Barclays Bank, Lloyds Bank and Cornwall Chamber of Commerce.
SWIG Capital is advertising for the position of Non-Executive Director
This position will offer the successful individual the chance to be part of a growing organisation supporting business growth in the South West.
- The individual will have experience and skills in finance such as venture capital, banking or business/ business support with the experience to support the board in ensuring existing funds are well managed and new funds are established.
- Meetings (at least 4 times a year) are held throughout the region so there will be a requirement to travel as well as to be available for contact by email and telephone conferences between meetings.
- Expenses and a small fee are paid.
