SWIG Finance is delighted to announce that its Bristol-based client, Rapid Fire Supplies, has won Growth Business of the Year at the Start Up Loans Delivery Partner Awards.
The national online awards event was held on Thursday 22nd April, to celebrate the achievements made through the Start Up Loans scheme during 2020.
Craig Eddy and Nikki Little, Directors of Rapid Fire Supplies, received a £25,000 Start Up Loan in April 2020 to launch the business.
Rapid Fire Supplies was launched at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, the business has gone on to create a substantial impact, not just for the business itself, but also for its employees and the community it serves.
SWIG Finance’s Business Manager, Sarah Osborn, commented “Rapid Fire Supplies entered the market just at the right time. In the current crisis, the logistics industry is playing an essential role in holding the economy together and Craig and Nikki have put a lot of work into ensuring that the business will successfully meet the challenge”.
As well as creating new jobs, the company has signed up to the National Living Wage scheme. Sarah added “Craig and Nikki are determined not just to do well as a business, but to be a good employer and build a company with a first-class reputation”.
