The government-backed Start Up Loan scheme originally started as a way to support 18-30 year old entrepreneurs into starting their own businesses. Combining low interest loans with advice putting together business plans and on-going mentoring support to help in the early days of the business, the scheme was highly successful.
Now the scheme has opened itself up to everyone, removing the age cap and launching 30PLUS, allowing entrepreneurs of any age to benefit from the finance and business support.
SWIG Start Ups continue to deliver the scheme across the South West, working with regional agencies across the South West providing business support local to applicants.
