Start-up dog training business, ALE Canine Solutions, has received funding through SWIG Finance to help propel the business forward.
The £15,500 loan, provided by The Start Up Loans Company, will be used to import stock, create an online presence, and cover the costs of renting land used for dog training.
The Basingstoke- based business was launched earlier this year by husband and wife team Ollie and Jenni Leavey, initially as a distributor of dog training product, the Placeboard.
As the business developed, they soon identified a real demand for a training service which led them to open their own training centre.
Ollie and Jenni have been passionate about dogs their entire lives, and this is a trait that runs in their family. With three young children, Aidan, Lilly and Elliott, the business soon became a family affair – their tribute to this is in the name A.L.E.
The business was launched at just the right time – the implications of COVID-19 has created a surge in dog adoption, and recent reports state that many families are now struggling with the pressure of training their pups.
ALE Canine Solutions is a customer- centric business and it is important to the business owners that the client is always put first.
Business owner Ollie commented “We are really excited about the business because we are passionate about what we do.
