The Community Development Finance Association (CDFA) has launched the Finding Finance website designed to make it easier for businesses and consumers to access finance in a fair, affordable and socially responsible way.
The national network of CDFA members, known as Community Development Finance Institutes (CDFI) such as SWIG Finance, are independent, not for private profit organisations which deliver different types of funding across the country. Users of the new website will be able to access information and contact details of these 60 CDFIs, allowing people, businesses and social enterprises the opportunity to find an ethical loan.
Finding Finance works by asking the user three basic questions as to the type of finance they’re looking for, the amount and their location and the website visitor is invited to contact the relevant CDFIs directly.
