As part of a series of new board-level appointments, SWIG Finance is delighted to announce that Rebecca Pritchard has joined the board as Non-Executive Director.

Rebecca joins the SWIG board having recently completed 7 years as UK Head of Business Banking at Triodos, Europe’s leading sustainable bank. Rebecca already has an excellent knowledge of the CDFI sector having been appointed to the board of Responsible Finance in 2019.

Rebecca’s career to date demonstrates a genuine passion for driving positive environmental and social impact, and she has a proven track record for creating and implementing strategic plans to enhance the regulated banking sector.

The new appointment coincides with a period of growth as the business continues to build on its established position as a lender of Enterprise Loans for SMEs in the South West region.

This board-level recruitment was undertaken by executive search specialists, Moon Executive Search, led by Vanessa Moon, who carried out a targeted national search campaign to source the very best candidates for the role.

Vanessa said; “It was important in our selection process to find a broad range of Non-Executives for SWIG Finance for this search and we were so pleased to introduce Rebecca Pritchard to the board.”

Malachy McReynolds, SWIG Finance’s outgoing Chair commented, “I am delighted to welcome Rebecca to the board. We are embarking on an ambitious programme of growth in our lending, and Rebecca’s CV demonstrates that she is ideally placed to help us achieve our goals. My personal thanks go to Vanessa Moon for identifying her for us.”

Newly elect Chairperson, Christine Allison, said “having Rebecca join SWIG Finance’s board brings highly valuable expertise to the group. The combination of her banking experience with Triodos and Chase, together with her knowledge of the responsible finance sector is a rare find. I look forward to working closely with Rebecca over the coming year and beyond”.
